What’s going on world?!?! I have been ghost on the blogs for a minute…and I really don’t have an excuse. LOL Anyways, I just thought I’d share with yall one of the cool websites I came across dealing with Twitter. Now, I’m not a big “Tweeter” like some folks…mostly because I like to “tweet” about important shit instead of dumb, not so funny, lame shit. Plus, I don’t wanna come across as a spammer.
So back to the main point lol…this website www.twittercounter.com keeps track of all of your stats that deal with your Twitter account. I think it’s pretty cool to see how many new people start following you and what your rank is in the Twitter world. Check it out! Follow me @Heartzthetruth

Control the uncontrollable
Hey everyone, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything. Over time, I’ve always tried to see the world in somewhat of a way that I can comprehend. However, there are things that happen in life that I have no explanation for. Anyways, long story short, you should just live. Nothing else, just live. I’m done trying to control my situations, environment, and whatever else is in my life. Whatever will happen is going to happen.
On the music side, I will be starting up on a new project. Listening to some of the new beats that I’ve been given is inspirational to say the least. Hopefully, I will be able to get to that as soon as my schedule frees up.

Thought I wouldn’t be back
It’s been a good minute since I last updated this thing. I don’t really feel like going in to detail on why I’ve been away or whatever, but I’m back in this bitch so that’s what really matters lol. I thought I’d just stop in because I’ve been giving a lot of thought on what’s been going on in my life and how shit is the way it is.
You know, what they say about karma happens to be very true. When I sit back and think about why I’ve gone through bullshit…I know that it’s most likely because I (at one point or another) did some fucked up shit myself. No matter what though, you just gotta keep moving….at least that’s what I keep saying to myself. I ain’t about to get up on here and be all inspirational and positive because that’s not where my mindset is at right now. Anyways, just killing time getting some of these thoughts out.
On to the actual music lol…I been trying to get back into the music thing, and I’m definitely going to be starting another project soon. Shit…lol after these past couple of months, you know I gotta have something to say. I plan to start another mixtape that takes some experimental approaches and something yall aren’t really used to…but be on the lookout for that.

NEW MIXTAPE
The anticipated Get Money, Fuck Music mixtape is finally DONE! I want to thank everyone who was involved in the making of the mixtape. I mean everyone from Fall Morning Music Group to my homeboys that kick it with me all the time and give me constant feedback to even the haters out there reading this lol.

A New Year…be on the look out
What’s going on everybody? Merry Xmas Eve to you and your families. I know I haven’t been updating this blog like I should…but you know how life can get haha. Anyways, there has been a couple of speed bumps in my way (those of you who talk to me in person know what I mean), so I just wanted to give everyone a piece of advice today.
Be careful of how you conduct yourself out here in this shady industry. There are a lot of people who make a living off of other people’s dreams, and you need to learn to distinguish between the two. If you happen to be on the right path, expect haters. Expect fakes, and above all else, expect frauds that will be coming at you with their hands wide open trying to get something from you.
On another note, one of my producers from Fall Morning Music Group, Rob G., decided to leak some of the songs from the new mixtape on Youtube. Just goto Youtube and type in Heartz the Truth and you should see some of the songs. I hope everyone enjoys what they hear. I will be printing up CDs of the full mixtape once I get everything in. Hopefully I can get a copy to everyone!

The Logo
So in my last post, I put up my logo that everyone can get used to seeing whenever my name is mentioned. Of course I had somebody guess what the design is (Evan). He’s one of my friends and knows my style a good bit. Anyways, for those who don’t know, the design is an ambigram. If you don’t know what this is, it’s really easy to understand it. First, pull up my logo. Next, turn your computer screen upside down (if you can). You’ll notice that Heartz the Truth is what the design reads either way.
The main reason I chose to use this design as my logo is because the truth is the truth no matter how you flip it. My truth may not necessarily be your truth. However, each person has their own truth that they fully believe in. That’s just food for thought for some of yall.
In other news, my mixtape is mostly finished. Even though I can’t wait to let yall hear it, I want everything to be perfect. Therefore, I’m gonna wait a little bit longer and work with my team (Fall Morning Music Group) in perfecting the mix so yall REALLY get what I’m saying lol.

Hip hop fans should be VERY interested
WOW!!! Now, I know most of yall have probably played or seen somebody play Guitar Hero. Well, if you’re a huge hip hop fan, you probably wondered why there isn’t a game for people like you and me. NOW there is! Lol, this game looks pretty decent from the video. I haven’t got a chance to play it yet, but you better believe I can’t wait.

Get Money, Fuck Music Update
It’s been a while since I’ve updated this thing, but I’ve been busy beyond belief lol. Anyways, I decided to update yall with the current status of my upcoming mixtape: Get Money, Fuck Music.
I think I should be done and have everything ready in November. However, I don’t want to make any promises because things always pop up unexpectedly. There will be some album artwork, and I will be printing up physical CDs this time around. At this point, yall can expect about 13 songs total on the mixtape. Some of these are skits, which really explain the meaning behind the title I’ve chosen.

Can’t please everybody?
Hey what’s going on everyone? Just thought I’d check in with another thought that I’ve been struggling with. As an artist, I want my music to appeal to everyone. Funny thing, it’s not possible lol. Recently, I have been battling with myself and struggling a little bit when it came to writing songs. Part of me wanted to put what my was on my mind directly onto the page…the other part of me constantly took a step back and wondered, “Is this what people wanna hear? Is this what people are going to like?”
I love my fans to death. That’s the end of the story lol. I don’t expect my fans to think of me as the best ever, but I love the support they show. Besides all the rambling, I guess what I’ve really come to terms with is this: the lyrics I spit and the songs I make are not going to appeal to everyone. Shit, it might even lose me some support. I just want people to know that my music reflects who I am. I want people to appreciate it for what it is. Artistic ability.

Hello World!!!! It’s a beautiful thing to make some actual progress in life. I recently stumbled onto a lead that could possibly be very beneficial to my music career. I’m not going to go into details just yet because I want to wait until my upcoming mixtape is finished. The one thing I have to ask everybody is this: Do you believe in me? Lol, sounds like a rather simple question right? Well, I guess I’m going to find out just how much everybody believes in me once I my new mixtape hits the streets.
I just want to take time out to thank all the people who genuinely care and support me in my dream. I appreciate it a lot and it means the world to me. Yall are my number one priority no doubt…
